This week’s topic is “surrender.” In my mind grapes I immediately related this to my recent return to written journaling – I had been resisting it for so long and finally went back to surrendered to it. When word barfing on the page I get this weird image of scooping my heart out (with an ice cream scoop, natch) and plopping it on the page, which is a pretty gross image if you think about it so I don’t. That’s what the little heart on the page is for, a little nicer illustration of surrendering my heart to the pages. How many more times can I use the word surrender? Anyway, I started out doodling a lady in front of her journal and then the hair thing took over; I surrendered to the urge to draw a bunch of hair.
