This page and the ones below all use techniques from Julie Prichard’s Supernova online journaling class. I actually signed up a while ago but couldn’t really follow her instruction because she makes heavy use of the brayer and I didn’t have one until like 5 minutes ago. But now I do! So I’ve been playing with that. I really enjoy her videos – very clear and to the point, and the techniques (of which there are many) are versatile enough that I can do my own thing with them (it’s a pet peeve of mine when a teacher teachers something so specifically that you can only ever come out looking like a poor imitation of that teacher).
Hey my girls is back! I spent like 28 seconds trying to pretend like I was going to not do the girl/text thing anymore but I got over it.
That background pattern is wrapping paper I got at IKEA.
This was made during the aforementioned 28 seconds. It seems so plain but I also don’t know what I would add to it. I was going to say “I’ll continue to work it” but who am I kidding I never go back to rework pages.
