Over the past several years my journals have become more and more vague – when I was a teen I would write for pages and pages about my life, but now I just do this crap instead. Lately they seem to be more thematic – the original event that inspired this is not really relevant (in fact there is the possibility I made this up in response to nothing in particular), but this general idea of people misunderstanding is still annoying and this page causes me to remember several examples. The journals (for now, they will change again) are more like memory triggers than detailed narration. I guess there’s the risk of me losing my memory as I get older, but that’s probably when the journals will change back to being more literal.
